Tom Bishop, Sam Evans, Joshua Edge and Thomas Penn made up the 16 and under Boys teams who won Bronze in the Freestyle and narrowly missed out on the medals by coming 4th in the Medley.

The 12 and under girls A Team – Annable Cook, Amelia Penn, Beth Jamieson and Rose Tunna also narrowly missed out on the medals but put in 2 good perfoamnces and came 4th in both their events. The team also swam well – they were Melina Athanassiu, Catherine Parsonage, Monique Higgs and Ellie Minshall. They came 10th in the Medley and 13th in the Freestyle.

Last, but by no means least, the 14 and under Boys B Team – Charlie Lane, James Fitzpatrick, Liam Roberts and Caleb Anderson were 7th in their Freestyle event and 8th in the Medley.

Coach Steve Archdeacon was very pleased with the club’s performance: “The Relays are definitely fun as the swimmers get to compete in teams but there is also stiff competition from other strong clubs and I am very proud of how all the swimmers performed.”
