Wasps Race Ahead at Shropshire Schools Gala

Wasps swimmers competed at the recent Shropshire Secondary Schools Gala and put in some fine performances clocking up 13 personal bests and 2 first places.

Joe Evans, representing Thomas Adams School, put in stunning performances in the Senior Boys 100m Backstroke and 100m freestyle winning both events and setting a new record in the Freestyle by swimming a personal best of 54.67.

Charlotte Evans swimming for Shrewsbury 6th Form College came in second in the Senior Girls 100m Backstroke in a personal best time of 1:10.77. She also took the silver in the 200IM.

Annabel Cook came second in the Junior Girls 100m Butterfly in a personal best time of 1:19.51. She also came 4th in the 200m IM.
