Wasps
are winners once again …
Well
done to everyone who took part in the first round of the National
Swimming League at Radcliffe on Saturday where we continued our
winning ways with another great victory. We faced some tough
opposition and the points were close at times during the gala but in
the end we made it a convincing win.
There
were many fantastic swims –Rachel Trent smashing her 100m free pb by
a massive 34 seconds certainly deserves a mention as does Ed Reid who
struggled on to the bus from his sick bed and put in a sterling
effort! Jamie Taylor and Joe Evans made a formidable pairing and, with
the help of the girls in relays, they won the team a grand total of 51
points.
Every
point counts in galas and so well done to the whole team. The next
round is 8th November venue tbc.
