Updated Wasp League Table – Feb 2008

Following the first weekend of the County Championships - February saw the Wasps reach their highest ever points total.

Premier League

Charlotte Archdeacon – realising the danger of being ousted from her position at the top of the Premier League – determined to defend her position by adding 44 points – taking her total to a new Personal Best of 1359.

However Alfie Pardoe kept up his relentless pursuit – with his sights fixed firmly on the summit - moving up one place to second – pushing Charlotte Evans back down into third position - with an additional 91 points – bringing his total to 1209.

Joe Evans added 11 points – taking his total to 970.

Annie Mellings added 63 points, thereby taking her tally to 897.

Bryony Archdeacon added 97 points – taking her total to 855.

Jamie Taylor has begun his resurrection – adding 41 points – taking his total to 771.

Elliot Hughes added a massive 113 points – taking his total to 113 and moving himself up into 13th position.

Eleanor Reid was the second highest riser in the month – adding 170 points to a new total of 755.

Lydia Jamieson added 24 points to a new PB of 741 points.

Ben Williams secured a further 28 points – taking his total to 723.

Hannah Greene added 86 points – bringing her total to 647 – and consolidating her 15th position.

Lauren Bond added a fantastic 173 points – taking her total to 479 and moving her out of the Premiership relegation zone - making the highest rise in the month.

Ed Reid gained 64 points to a new total of 364 – and in so doing avoided relegation to the Second Division.

Second Division

At the top of the Third Division Beth Jamieson added a superb 160 points – taking her total to 309 – and setting out her intent to move up into the Premiership.

Annie Jones added a monster busting 85 points to take her total to 258.

Amelia Penn secured a further 42 points – taking her total to 169.

Isobel Mellings came of age at the County Championships – securing a further 67 points – making her total 101.

So well done to all those swimmers.
