Deva Opposition Fly White Flag

On Saturday 29th September the Wasps finally came of age in Round Two of the Deva League.

Against Knutsford, Oswestry & Neston the Wasps dominated from beginning to end - finishing the gala with 158 points against Oswestry’s 120 points. Knutsford and Neston barely got a look in.

The swimmers, coaches and fans, of our opponents, looked on in awe and envy at the quality of the Wasp talent that was on display.

On the journey home our coach rocked to the sounds of “We are the champions” and “We are top of the league”. The coach in front was noticeably quiet – it turned out to be Oswestry’s.

So it’s onto Market Drayton on the 17th November for the final round of the 2007 Deva League. Victory will guarantee promotion.
