Wasps Lift Millenium Cup

Last Saturday the Wasps under 12s team beat both Newport and Madeley Court to win the Millenium Junior Relay Cup for the first ever time.

With a small but elite team of swimmers the Wasp Young Guns dominated from start to finish, and provided further evidence of their significant potential.

Acting as team manager Jon Pardoe said  “I’d like to thank all of our young swimmers who gave absolutely everything to the cause. This victory is hopefully the beginning of a new era – one in which winning becomes a habit.”

The Wasps Junior team will be back in action on September 30th in another relay gala at Stockport. The squad will be announce shortly.

The cup will be on display at Whitchurch Pool.
