Wasps Star at Commonwealth Workshop
On Saturday 9th September Alfie Pardoe, Bryony Archdeacon and Charlotte Archdeacon attended the Commonwealth Swimming Workshop day held in Shrewsbury.
Members of the British & Commonwealth Swimming team including double Commonwealth Freestyle Gold medalist Ross Davenport, Backstroke specialist Nathan Oxford and Butterfly supreme Stephanie Hill - were on hand to demonstrate stroke technique and drills.
All of our three swimmers then lined up to race the Professionals and represented the Club particularly well.
All of the members of the Commonwealth team gave talks and answered questions – before signing autographs and motivating our swimmers.
It is hoped that we will be able to organise something similar in the future exclusively for our Club swimmers – watch this space.
