Wrexham Junior Sprint Meet - 18th Nov 2006
This years Wrexham Junior Sprint Meet will be held at Wrexham Waterworld on Saturday 18th November. Swimmers will compete in the following age groups (as defined by age on day): 8,9,10,11 & 12.
Under 10s will compete over 25m, whilst 11 & 12 year olds will swim 50m races. Swimmers can compete in up to 4 races: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke & Butterfly.
This event represents an ideal opportunity to gain the experience of competition in a fantastic pool with lots of room for spectators and fan clubs.
Dependent upon numbers we will be organising a coach leaving Whitchurch at 7.45am. The gala finishes at 4.30pm and the coach will then be returning to Whitchurch via Pizza Hut in Wrexham at Circa 7pm. There is no requirement for parents to attend if you’d rather have a day off shopping!!!! Obviously if you wish you can make your own way.
The cost of entering all 4 gala events, coach travel & Pizza Hut is likely to be £20. Any additional expense will be met by the Club.
