Shropshire County Championships - Day 3 & 4 Results

Over the weekend of the 4th & 5th March the Wasps continued to notch up their medal tally at the Shropshire County Swimming Championships.

On the Saturday Robert “Tarzan” Flack took the Gold medal in the 400m 16 years age group in an emphatic personal best time of 4:39.44.He then followed this up by taking the Silver medal in the 100m Individual Medley in another personal best time of 1:08.95.

Philip Austin won more Bronze medals to add to his collection in the 100m IM 14 year age group and the 200m backstroke, whilst Mathew Everett picked up the Bronze in the 100m IM 15 year age group in a PB of 1:13.08

On the Sunday James Park took the bronze medal in the 100m butterfly 17+ years age group in a PB of 1:06.28, whilst Nicki Latham took the bronze in the 100m women’s Breastroke (11 year age group) in a PB of 1:40.39 and Charlotte Archdeacon captured the Bronze in the same event (13 year age group).

Over the two days Wasp swimmers picked up an impressive 41 Personal Bests.
